What is a New Zealand Transit Visa?
A transit visa is a particular type of visa that is issued to a traveler passing through a particular country to reach another destination. If you are passing through New Zealand while reaching another country and do not have a plan to stay in NZ for 24 hours, then a transit visa is required.
This visa will let travelers travel within the Auckland International Airport transit area. It is possible to include your partner and dependent children in this visa application. People from visa waiver countries are requested to hold a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority. Australian citizens, NZ temporary class visa holders, and residents of NZ need not apply for a transit visa.
